Jacinto pays homage to my fascination with Colombian basket weaving traditions, while pulling in visual motifs found in Asian villages half a world away. How these influences are so tightly aligned given the geographic distance is one of the great stories of world textiles. With Jacinto, I wanted to wrap these worlds of inspiration together, with a light hand.
